National Grid ED2 EV Infrastructure Programme

Client: National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED)

LMC Utilities delivered specialist civils packages across 53 EV charging and power infrastructure sites throughout the West Midlands and South West regions as part of NGED’s ED2 programme.

 
The works were completed with zero utility strikes, zero reportable incidents and no major programme delays across the portfolio. By combining strong supervision, competent operatives and proactive planning, LMC Utilities consistently delivered safe, compliant and high-quality civil engineering works across a challenging multi-site programme.
Environment Agency EV Infrastructure Programme

Client: Environment Agency / Rock Power Connections

LMC Utilities delivered civils works associated with the installation of EV charging infrastructure across multiple Environment Agency facilities throughout England.
 
Works included excavations, duct installation, charger foundations, feeder pillar bases, cable routes, reinstatement works and

associated enabling works and civil engineering activities.

All works were delivered safely within live operational utility environments, maintaining access and minimising disruption to Environment Agency operations.

The programme was completed to the required quality and safety standards, supporting the Environment Agency’s transition towards a lower-carbon vehicle fleet.
Allego Ultra Rapid EV Charging Hub – Belgrave Retail Park

Allego / Rock Power Connections

LMC Utilities delivered the complete civils package for a major ultra-rapid EV charging hub at Belgrave Retail Park.
 
Works included excavations, duct installations, feeder pillar and package substation foundations, road crossing works, cable routes, reinstatement and associated infrastructure required to support the charging hub.
 

The civils package was successfully completed in support of commissioning and energisation, including completion of the HV road crossing and cable installation between the point of connection and the package substation.
